My attempt at duplication on the rear

Image

This other one I have has two stars (and no surrounding circle), I wonder if you can get a 5 star mini?

they are obviously stamped on after the number.
And I would agree that the stencil is rolled and not sprayed. Took me four attempts to get a semi respectable looking result spraying.

Had another look at my front subframes, have found MOWOG on two of them, one upside down in the center, the other correct way up on LHS.

I had the same number stamped on my subframe as you, Frank. From a 68 Deluxe. It had rubber cones when I bought it.

Btw mine was stamped upside-down as compared to yours. And I don't remember seeing any stars stamped on them.

"I have never seen a stenciled 'mowog' on a subframe. Its not on the 5 front ones I have."
"Had another look at my front subframes, have found MOWOG on two of them"

Thank goodness we get the correct info out there.

Old thread, but thought it would be good to keep this all together.

Just out for my restoration of the Mk2 1970 S.

Note the red star, there's another one under the centre jute isolator.

This one has 21A2159 with blue stars.
What does this number mean?
Have another 2 to check.
