+120 is pretty sizeable, and not far off the 68mm at +13x so I would suggest you are starting to run into gasket overlap on the cylinder and will need to go to a 1275 one. Have a read of the above to see what GR did to get round it.

Cheers
Aaron

Hi all! Anyone know of a supplier of MLS head gaskets for 998cc? (or perhaps would a 1275 be able to be fitted?)
Any info appreciated :)

I used a BK450 on a 68mm bore with a 202 head. I had to block off 1 water hole and move 2 others by plugging and re-drilling.

However back in 1968 I used a 1275 gasket and 12G940 head on a 68mm bore, no water hole problems. (Block was notched for exhaust valve clearance).

Got my first Mini in 1964. An 850 with twin hs2 carbs. After I rode in my mate's 850 and got hooked. :)

But in 1969 I had a 20 odd year love affair with Fiat 124 coupes. When Fiat pulled out of Oz and parts got unobtainium I said eff it and went back to Minis.
But my wife did own a MK 1 S and a Morris 1300 auto in that period.
