Hello people, I'm Greywooley. Grew up with minis. My dad had an 850, my cousin had a Mk2 S and so did I but now its a stock 1968 mk3 Wolseley Hornet. It came from Sydney a while ago via Hong Kong. Its NOT an NZ car which makes it rare I think.

Hi guys n gals,

Names Silas (yeah...I know), I don't have much of a story except like most people on here minis have been popular in my family since my dad bought a brand new van in 66.

My siblings have been heavily into these magic little cars for years, and now I've got the bug. (A 66 van, just like my dads)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to picking up some great info on ausmini and at some stage would love to contribute what I can to the knowledge pool.

Regards,
Silas

Hi All!

I don't currently own a mini but am on the lookout for one. I had a few minis 20 years ago which I had great fun in so I think its time to get back into one again

Ideally i'd like something with a late model engine conversion. I'm not scared of doing the conversion myself but a couple of things I'm worried about is getting driveshafts made, and the engineering process

How often do converted mini's come up for sale and where is the best place to find them?

Located Campbelltown, Sydney

Thanks guys

I actually bought 2 more minis yesterday (whoops). One more clubman and an early morris 850 . I haven't looked at either too close up yet but i'll likely be starting a 'stupid questions' thread soon
