Hi All,
Jon and Gail here from Warners Bay (near Newcastle) and we've recently become the proud owners of a very precious little 1963 Cooper, it was Gail's Dad's car and he owned it from near new, unfortunately it has sat neglected in a shed for the 30 odd years. But now we're determined with heaps of help and encouragement from our daughter Brydie and hopefully everyone here, to get it back running and on the road. Looking forward to any and all advice you can all offer.

Maybe start a build thread in the members mini gallery. Do not throw away any old parts. Some of the new parts we buy today are made from inferior materials. No question is a dumb question. Good luck.

Hi, Cameron here from north shore Sydney. I've owned a Deluxe, Leyland van, 2x 1275LS and a Cooper S Mk2 and then took about 15 years off :). Now contemplating getting back into the money pit machines with either a round nose 1275, or van. My late Dad used to race a rear-mini-engined open-wheeler, so it's in the blood. I was hoping to do a small resto with him after retirement but it wasn't to be, so would love to get back into it.
