Hi all, it's been just over 5yrs of hiding in the shadows, so I thought I'd jump on again and say Hi. A big hello to everyone, and hope everyone is well.

Hi All,

I am here to get back into the old school Mini Cooper 'S' or Clubman GT.

I was once in the pit crew for Lakis Manticas at Hume Weir when he was racing against Peter Brock when he was fibre glassing his 1070cc Austin Mini Cooper 'S' to light weight it, many nights were spent tuning his cars in Woy Woy and testing it and I got fibre glass in my skin, young and foolish in the 1960's.
I have had many Cooper esses since then, the last was 1970 model which was sold several years ago. Maybe someone knows the owner and I can buy it back.

A list of Mini Businesses here - viewtopic.php?f=41&t=83593

Many people use Facebook to trade in second hand parts and share info. There are dozens of Facebook groups dedicated to Australian minis.

Gumtree is another place to find parts.

Quote from a very smart and critical automotive fella: I use Hansen’s automotive on McDougall St, it doesn’t say on their listing but they race minis and love working on them. Ally Arc welding opposite them is the best fabrication and welding place I have found in Toowoomba. Unquote

Over to you WendyL :D

Hi Goodie. Much has happened, some good, some bad, but in the end i'm still about. Bought myself a functioning mini around 12 months ago, so I thought I'd jump back in here and see whats swingin.
