Hey Guys,

Been hanging out on here for the last month or so just reading up on the world of mini’s. Thought it was about time I said hey!

I’m based in Canberra and about to pull the trigger on my first mini purchase (ridiculously excited would be an understatement!). I’m sure I’ll have a heap of questions for the build so will start a thread when the time comes.

Cheers,
Charlie
Welcome mate.

Hey everyone, another new mini owner here. We just picked up this '64 850 yesterday, the previous owner has looked after it well, kept it nicely original with a few tastefully done touches, but very stock. Drove it over 200km home and didnt skip a beat. No set plans, just enjoy it as is. We've owned a couple of EK Holdens, an XY wagon and 72 beetle, but really enjoying the mini as something different. Looking forward to learning all things mini on here

Welcome

Thats a good indication of a well sorted mini if you can just jump in and drive 200km with no issues.

Enjoy

Hey folks, new mini custodian down here in Kyneton, Victoria. Now the proud owner of an early ‘63 matching numbers Morris Mini 850 that needs a full resto. Came with a bunch of spares including 2 extra 850 engines and gearboxes, doors, bonnets, boots, subframes, and boxes and boxes of misc spares that I am yet to unpack. Also came with a spare shell that’s missing the floor. Going to be a long term project but that’s half the fun.
Cheers Simon. ImageImageImage

Taking her on some short runs now.
