Hi,

I'm Rob from Jindalee in WA. Just purchased my first mini which I have just started a rebuild on. It's a 1970 morris mini k 1100 and it's missing lots of parts, so going to be a long process I reckon......

Sure will. Car is nearly stripped now and working out what repair panels I need. Passenger footwell has been bodged in the past so will need a mini k / clubman panel there. Going to attempt to tig weld so will see how that goes!

Hi All,

I’m Dale , I have a 1969 Mini K 1100 that I’m attempting to get back to it’s original shape.
The car is together but it’s got a lot of gremlins from previous owners.

The floors have been fibreglassed so those will be the first to go and get proper panels welded in.

Cheers for the help so far.

Hi Readers
My Name is Alby and Im from South Gippsland. Its great to see so many people enjoying Mini's of all ages. I started playing and driving minis when I was about 12yrs. Such a great car to drive and always puts a smile on your face. I currently own a 1963 cooper 997 which is a project ,so plan to restore it. It has been off the road for over 30yrs and still runs which is amazing!. Its been ten yrs since I have driven a mini, which was my daily,so I'm very keen to get back in the drivers seat, however as all projects go, patience and it will happen.

If you go up to User Control Panel (top right) you can add Brisbane as your location and it will appear with your username when you post. Saves others having to ask each time. ;)

Greetings,
I'm Andrew and I am fast approaching the end of my 3 year long restoration. She runs great, just tweaking the group 2 fenders.

G’day all,

I haven’t been on here for a few years! Originally joined in 2013 when I had a ‘78 model that was an 1100 but replaced it with a 1340cc motor. I was living in Perth, WA back then, still regret selling that car

My old Miranda :D

Well, I’m now living in Hobart, Tasmania and last night purchased a ‘75 1100 at auction! Probably paid too much but that’s what happens when the auction ends at 8pm and I’d been drinking too much beer

Well, here she is (no name yet!) shall hopefully pick her up today and will probably be posting for lots of advice in the near future :D
