Running the same block here.
Needs oil way mods and an oil pump spacer to use in a manual.
I can do that here if you need it.

OK what were in the Morris 1100S automatics?
I had a 12H/169/H, (early one I suspect), what others?

edit I checked the number again it was 169 not 119.

This page is from Peter Davis' recently published book.

ADO16 is Morris 1100 and 1100S
YDO9 is Morris Nomad
YDO15 is Morris 1300 and 1500
YDO30 is Californian Moke - Export

Page removed, hopefully temporarily.

They changed the prefix when they changed models.
The 1100S started with a fully imported 12H/169/H before moving to the locally assembled 12YA/A/H.
The 1300 Automatic (and Nomad) came with the 12YE/A/H.
The only real difference between the two would have been the change from a generator to an alternator.

Isn't there a copyright on that info Doug or do you have permission from the book writers

I paid a $100 for that book to get that info and I think others should do the same and not just put up freely on a forum I know some time went onto getting that book finished that's why I didn't mind paying for it

I know there was some pdf samples on there site but still I think only after there's no copys of the book left and a period of time after that then it should be used

If the stuff you have was provided to write up the book then fair enough use it as you will

I'm pretty sure Peter said it was OK to show a few pages that answered specific questions, but I've removed the pages while I check with him.

There was good advertising on here before it was put out to the public gto

I just noticed your name on the second page of the book Doug but id still be asking for permission from the publisher or authors first as your stuff becomes there stuff In the weird world of today

Also gto i put up a link that come off the moke forum on here for a Haynes mini manual with missing chapters which is easily found on the net on here when I just started with minis and not Long after joining the forum as there wasn't a manual on here at the time. the link was pulled off the forum 30 min later by a mod saying to do with copyright and was told I can pm the link to members on here. I was pming the link for weeks

Don't ask me for the site as I don't know it no more either go look for it on the moke forum it was there if any one is interested in it

I was one of many who contributed information for the book. Since publication I've provided Peter with corrections and suggested changes, most of which have been adopted I understand. A reprint is on the way as all first editions have been sold.

I've mentioned to him the possibility of marque specific versions, such as a Mini and Moke document with only the data from the book that applies to those cars. I think Mini enthusiasts would be more likely to buy a condensed version rather than the full 290 page book.

I've emailed Peter re our current discussion. Will let you all know after we chat.
