For any car buffs in Nth QLD, there is a car show this coming weekend in Cairns both Sat and Sun, at the Lake St multi level car park, it is being organised by the Mundoo Drag Racing Assoc. $25 per vehicle to enter with plenty of catergories and tropies.

Will be putting my Mini in it. If you live up this way drop in and have a look or get your car entered, more vehicles makes for a better show!!!

Well the car show this weekend was a great success, were all sorts of vehicles from Jap crap to American muscle. The quality was very high as well. As I mentioned I entered the Mini in the Show, and ended up coming away with The Best Car Of The Show award, and 3rd in peoples choice, This was a huge surprise to me considering the standard of vehicles on display.

Thanks guys, yeah I did end with a bigass trophy, its about 1m high its huge. Tell ya what though there were some really good quality cars there, 57 Chev 2 door and and a really nice XY Falcon ute.

Very suprising that my little car took out this award, considering that the show is put on by the Mundoo Drag Racing Assoc, which these guys are very very V8 muscle car orientated.

Goes to show the giant killing capabilities of the Mini.
