I can't help with the rust fix but there is a good paint shop near me in Wilston. They did a brilliant job on my mate's car but weren't really interested in my mini with the paint falling off in case it was rust or bog underneath. Let me know if you find someone. M |

I went and saw a panel shop in Lawnton last week. The owner was english and looked at the car and priced a respray (shooting a prepped car) on the spot - no hesitation and he went straight to all the issues for getting it done properly. For the bodywork he sent me round the corner to a restorer who also gave me a ballpark price as well as taking me through the workshop to see the work they do. I'd be happy to go with either seeing the work they were doing. The respray price was reasonable and the only thing about the bodywork was the backlog of customers they have.
