Hey All

I purchased the attached kit 3 years ago and installed it in a B16A cable box, has been fine with only very slight judder on occasions, the gearbox requires a rebuild that's the reason why I have found this - the uneven wear due to heat, assuming it is due to a faulty pressure plate? You can see slight scratching on the clutch plate on every second rivet and the faces of the other two are self explanatory.

My initial thought was clutch cover not installed evenly because of how the hot spots on the flywheel are but there other things that can give those symptoms too. Maybe while it's out assemble it while it's on the bench & see how the diaphragm fingers sit & if they are worn unevenly & have a look at the throw out bearing too for wear etc.

Now is the easiest time to replace it

In the 3 years that you have had it, how many klm do you think you have travelled?

Cheers for the feedback

Not many hard starts and I didn't slip it too often.

Engine mounts are rock solid, I have posted on 16vminiclub too
