Howdy, been a while since I've been on these boards, good to see it's still bopping along.
Hope someone can help with accurate build date of my 1969 cooper s. I'm thinking of getting new number plates and want to use the build date. Without giving too much away, the last 4 digits of the chassis number are between 1370 and 1380. My research puts that in October, can anyone confirm that? Starter motor has 8/69 stamped on it, but of course that was most likely assembled before the car....unless they were stamped as car was built??
Had this car for over 10 years now and still going strong. Apart from a leaky hydro bag, but a quick pump up keeps it good for a month or so.
