Hi,
Can anyone provide advice on how to restore dicky door openers on a Mini K?

I understand that if the handles don't return to the rubber stopper on the outside of the door, that the 'snail' spring needs renewing. This is on the to-do list.

I am also having to 'bop' both doors open with a shoulder and the interior handles are exceptionally stiff.

Advice on where/how/with what to lubricate these door openers would be most appreciated - I have only ever had to fiddle with Clubman doors before.

Cheers,
Tom.

My driver's side door lock handle was sticking down. I tried blowing graphite into the latch assembly but have had more joy using silicone spray. I would try this first. If inside handles are stiff I would remove door trim then spray the mechanism with the same stuff. ;)
