 Post subject: mini van fuel tank

Hi does a mini van have a special pipe from the tank to the electric fuel pump. My buddys van has just been put back together after mini years and arrived as a kit set. Pump works if we use a jerry can. New to vans ta Kiwinwgtn

Not 100% sure what you mean but it sounds like pipe is blocked. Can you blow through pipe into tank.

It looks like the fitting that goes into the tank has a long leader that goes into the tank. Looks like someone has done a dodey repair. You can blow compressed air through all pipes and tank easly. Nothing is blocked and all pipes etc are new except the tank.

You are talking about the tank breather maybe? It is a thin pipe connected to the filler neck. On late vans this goes to the charcoal canister up front.
