There will be a 'Kit' aswell as a complete crate engine available.
It will run our 5 port injection throttle body kit, the Rotrex supercharger with a new timing cover that also acts as a mount for the charger. This engine has been based on an MPI engine but won't be limited to an MPI engine. Our system is dramatically different to anything else that's gone before. The fundamentals being we are compressing the air then adding the required fuel at the cylinder head rather than adding fuel before the supercharger and then asking the charger to distribute the fuel as it decides. This gives us accurate control of the fuelling as it's required allowing us to run stock compression ratios around 10.2:1 meaning most engines running moderate boost wouldn't need to even take the head off. The supercharger itself builds boost with revs allowing the pulleys to be sized to give the required boost for the engine spec and the rev range the engine will work with. The supercharger will flow enough air for 200hp, which means you can start with a mild set up and the charger will stay with you if you build for more power in the future. We will be Dtho testing many variations in Sept from stock mpi cam through the sw5 and then a re130t, again our experience with the Rotrex on TwinKam engines shows that they work as extreme power adders on top of typical n/a tuning, i.e. They love cam duration, big flowing heads, exhaust etc. Keep an eye out its gonna be fun..... |

yeah, those little blowers are hugely expensive for what is basically half a turbo... |

Wow it looks really tidy. That price is on par with a twin screw supercharger. Much more expensive than the second hand roots that most people use though. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk |

I'd assumed it was something they'd done with the impeller...
