Ex-BMC staff who worked at the Abingdon Competitions Department, building and maintaining the all-conquering BMC Works cars, had a reunion recently. There was a nice assembly of staff, works cars and replicas at a disused airfield in the UK. Wow, that is just exceptional. A collection of outstanding cars each with its own special history. I'd say there were a few good stories told that day! |

Out on the track (landing strip actually) with the Works Minis!
