On the brochure for the Mini K, you can clearly see a squared off base for the gear shift rubber boot on the floor. Did all Mini’s have this part or was it a "K" detail? Attachment: 0338A419-0318-4DDD-9243-B23E09FD8D8F.jpeg

It's just the profile of the rubber mat as fitted to the Mini K, and others. The carpet on your Cooper S would sit around the rubber gaiter and not look as squared off as the rubber mat. The floor pressing underneath is the same across all the models. |
