Ive picked up a rubber boot for the Handbrake but cant seem to fit it around the Handbrake warning light switch. Has anyone got pictures of their set ups? Cheers.

If I'm carrying on like a pork-chop, I'm having a great time.

If I go very quiet there's a very good chance I broke something.

All the ex police cars i have seen with the handbrake switch are missing their vinyl boot. Maybe they left them off? Interested to see what others say.

Maybe a later rover. Not an aussie MK1 or MK2 or clubman handbrake cover.

Here is what they looked like. A very simple flimsy piece of vinyl.

I have looked through photos of a dozen ex police MK2 S and Clubman GT cars and i can only see one that has a handbrake boot / gaitor fitted. However it had a full resto so that won't be a reliable indication.

Lots of Leylands have them fitted.

I will have a look through the Brochures and get back to you.

Edit, Mini K brochure does not have one

That's what I thought as well. Introduced on Clubman vehicles, not on round nose.

So you saw the ugly handbrake adjusters?

Can't remember what my original 70 S had back in 76......

So you can just see the bolts and cables etc? How bizzare. Its a clubby shape but mostly mini k parts i suppose. Anyone want the rubber boot then? It would fit except for the switch.
