Actually I think every paint sticker I've seen said acrylic.
Has anyone got a paint sticker for enamel paint?

The stickers would've appeared in 1969 after the ID plate was discontinued so there may not be many if any with enamel specified. Any interesting question all the same.

When I think about it, my earlier post about the type of paint applied on the production line and the touch-up type says to touch-up both baked enamel and acrylic with Acrylic Lacquer, so maybe the paint stickers were showing what to use for repairs and not what was originally applied. If so there wouldn't be any stickers quoting enamel paint.

If painted in acrylic ,use a primer sealer it can be used over small crazing in the paint. Consult your local paint panel supplier they will put you on the right track. VG paints in Sydney will give advice as there are a few different types.
P7676 Don't forget you will still have to rub the paint.

Thanks P7676...if you use a power buffer (abt 400 RPM?) should you use anti-swirl on every paint coat? :D

The ID plates on earlier cars had the paint type on them in number form
