A bit of 1/2'' plate and some 3/8'' threaded rod, make your own. That way it'll guarantee you that nothing will go wrong with clutch etc.........you're prepared for it. ( Murphys law number 27.5)

Make sure you have something to fit into the crank bolt hole to protect the threads if you use a centre bolt!

Take the keyway out and put the bolt back in. don't do it all the way up.

You're referring to the key, aren't you. Not the keyway.
