Hi Guys,

Please share any experience / tips that you have on speaker placement in a panel van. At the moment I have them in boxes in the boot, but I would prefer a stealthier option or somewhere they can be built in.

Cheers

I put a MS polished wooden dash in the front and a couple of 4 inch speakers in the air vent holes (meant for UK Minis). In the back I "paneled" the sides with MDF with carpet over it then cut holes either side for two 6 x 9 speakers towards the rear.

Cheers Slide. If you have photos it‘d be great if you could post them. I was thinking about building MDF panels in the back corners too.
I currently have a cheap head unit but the plan is to have a hidden JBL GTR-104 amp (or similar) which allows full bluetooth connectivity via a tiny remote.

We had a van that someone had fitted a pair of 6x9s in the load area floor, just behind the seats.
The car was a project so I've no idea how they sounded.

I’ve been looking into putting a Bluetooth soundbar on the roof just behind driver and maybe a powered sub behind the battery.

Still looking...
