What major parts make up the 1st/2nd gear synchronizing hub assembly 22A1021 for use in the 22G333 casing? Are they 22G439 for the "B" type 1st gear and 22A1781 for the inner hub? I have an assembly which appears to have a "B"type 1st gear on an inner hub stamped 22G250 , its possibly from an early Cooper 998 with "A" type 2nd 3rd and top gears in a 22G68 casing.Do the casings and/ or mainshafts vary from each other for there to be a different inner hub? Another assembly has 22G92 gear(looks like "A"type ) on 22A1781 hub.PUZZLING! Regards Ashley

Hello Ashley,
Not much response to this set of questions....
I don't have much light to shine either.
I have a 22G333 box bought years ago for spares. It is an "X" series box.I don't know what it is from (supposedly 970S but it has cutout for 1275 crank and has serial number 12FA).
I dismantled it and have many of the gears. The laygear is 22G321.
The 1/2 speed hub has inner ring as 22G250. No discernable marking on outer ring.
