Ok dudes and dudettes,
I have a complete 1275 that I want to make mental and put in a mini k. I’m thinking turbo or supercharger. So, NA? Turbo? Or supercharged?

Supercharge with the 40 or 45 dcoe vmacscart kit. Keen to see how they go

A sc kit would be reasonably easy to do and would go quite well but I would go turbo. Would be a sqeeze, may need to mod the bulk head though.

I hear SC12 parts are getting scarce.
Re a turbo, you can get kits now that fit it above the firewall, no cutting needed. Contact 'benjamin' on here.

7 port or BMW bike head with a turbo

still too many compromises - fueling before the blower that is too small and no charge cooling - can never make any real power

I think the best bang for your buck will be a turbo if you can do the work yourself.

The supercharger kits are an easy option as you can buy the kits with most of the hard work done already.

Do you have a current power goal in mind and what kind of spec is the 1275 engine now?

Really the sky is the limit when it comes to mods but these days it's all about turbos. A well suited snail for your custom built engine will be better than a sc of the same built style.
Also pump E85 is getting more common which means higher comp ratios = MAX POWER
