Am wanting to see the inside of one of these diff cages, does anyone have a picture that they can post as the only pics found on a google search only show the outside.

I do have few here, I'll see if I can dig one out for a pic.

The only really difference between this one and the early one is that it has slots cut in to it for the sun gear thrust washers (these have 'ears' on them). It would be easy to modify an early one for the same.

Has anyone used this diff cage on there car and if so are they compatible with the contents of the original 1969 Mk2 Cooper S diff case except the bronze sun gear bushes?

Yes they are exactly the same inside except for 2 slots for the ears. You can fit early thrust washers instead but then they will spin in the case and wear it. Why they fitted the ears....
If your diff has the original bronze side gear washers keep them. The fibre ones sold now are generally too thick and don't last like the bronze ones do.

From what you said I guess the bronze side bushes are not available any more?

Has anyone modified the standard diff case BTA145 to accept DAM5071 if so did it work out and how was it modified.

I have done quite a few over the years, it's just 5 minutes work with a die grinder or a bit longer with files.
It works fine. Stops the copper washers from wearing the diff case. But pick a case that isn't worn bad to start with, check around the pin hole for a raised lip (= worn).
