Looking for some new tyres for my car, the new Nankang NS-2R has caught my eye. Its a road / track type tyre. Just looking for some feedback if anyones tried them before?
Thanks.

The usual scenario. Hard compound tyres that wear well, but NFG in the wet.

I have tried these as well in an AH Sprite. They were quite good.
I dont know how long they would last though...

Yep...well and truly understand...but if people find they like the tiny contact patch on round black ones hangs on AND are happy to say so...its a pretty good indication (so long as they all don't work for the importer!! :-)

When in doubt, spend the extra money on the tried and proven  :P

The tried and proven is my normal method- Yokohama all the way but now they dont road rate the A048R I'm hoping to find that something is available that could sit above the A539 in terms of performance / grip (I don't care about how quickly they wear out).

I have the AR-1 on a Lotus Exige that is set up for track days. Absolute crap so don't expect that anything Nankang produce would be any better. I'll rub these out and go back to Yokohamas. Mini or not the performance aspects of any tyre is still attributable.
