Hi All,
In stripping my rear subframe I notice that the handbrake plate that directs the two handbrake cables is worse for wear. It’s pretty bent out of shape. You can see it here in the centre of this picture.

Anyone know if you can get this as a replacement part?

It's spot welded on right?

Its pretty soft metal from memory, I think you can batter it back into shape with a little bit of work.

Like Mick said, it's mild steel so it ends up looking a bit worse than it really is.
As for your question, I couldn't find one quickly but there are specialists in UK who make more stuff than we usually need in Oz. Check in some UK mini mags for suppliers.

Found mine to be similar. Stripping and full rebuild underway of mine at moment. Have been gently manipulating mine into a bit better condition. Won’t be seen easily obviously but just need it functional. Going all out on the rest though.
