Hello All
I am fitting a new wiring harness VIN it looks good. I am going to ask a dumb question at the front of the car does the battery cable attach to the lower part of the solenoid or to the starter motor. Also is there a lead from the solenoid to the starter motor .TY TY I have also fitted a new battery cable.

The battery cable attaches to the solenoid, and a similarly sized cable goes from the solenoid to starter motor. Smaller gauge cable goes from solenoid to fuse box. I'll see if I can find a photo, although gtogreen1969 may be along soon and he has a wealth of images.

Here are a few pics. Your solenoid may either be horizontal or at a 45 deg angle
