Post subject:  Rocky- headlining question

My car has no headlining. From what I understand the early 850s had a 2 piece lining attached to a frame and later cars had a 1 piece attached to several bows. Mine has 6 holes along each edge plus a rectangular bracket on the left side near the B pillar. Is this for the early type? Is it possible to fit the later type perhaps with some mods? I’m not worried about originality I just want whatever works best and is available.

You can get either type new, but I've heard finding the bows can be tricky. I have the early type in my car, the headliner attaches only to the bows and doesn't require any rubber window trim to be removed to fit it in.

Newton Commercial does kits for the early type:

And later Aussie type:

Yep I can see that the lining is available but the issue I have is that I don’t have the frames.
