The spring on the slave cylinder is extremely hard to connect. Should I screw in the 1/4 bolt ? New clutch and slave cylinder have been fitted any ideas ? TY Allen |

Yes. It is a little bugger... I have copied a friend's idea to reduce the tension in the spring as it doesn't need to be so strong. A short length of steel wire/rod (even a nail) bent at both ends to go between the spring end and triangle plate on the clutch arm. Just needs to have slight tension all the time. |

Drop it in your toolbox and forget it was ever there... They don't need it and the clutch mechanism works better without. |
