Hi All,

I want to get a tachometer to fit my mini clubman to aid in tuning etc.
It seems the 3 gauge clusters are getting rare/expensive and I was looking online at single Smiths Tachos.

However there seems to be a huge range of types with various maximums, RVI or RVC, and other numbers that seem like ratios.

I was wondering if anyone could give me information on what does and doesnt work, whats available thats not too expensive etc?
I'm not looking for anything exactly original but would like to keep it a Smith's along to fit the other gauges in the car.

Sorry its a pretty opened ended question.

Thanks

RV1 = old school, impulse driven
RVC = newer, works with electronic ignition etc
