Hey Dudes,
Am working on the tie rod ends as I need to replace the rubber boots. Just wondering if they need to be packed with grease and if so which sort?
Cheers,
B

If in doubt use molygrease. Castrol LMM or similar.

I'm thinking that will be the option... One of the tension springs has broken due to corrosion and I can only seem to buy a replacement from China in lots of 10,000... That would mean I have 9,999 to store in the shed! more than all the tie rod end tensions springs needed in the world!

And at cheap cheap to replace them... why wouldn't I?

Replacement torsion springs found on a set of TE boots. Job done.
