Does anyone have the correct setting (distance) for the column mounted trip bolt, ie the distance between the head of the bolt and the Indicator Switch mechanism, used to cancel the indicator when negotiating corners. Can not find any reference in any of the Workshop Manuals. |

I did it by trial and error, adjusting the height to the minimum required to activate the switch (both directions) in order to minimise wear. |

I had a couple of steering columns at home that i measured when it came time to restore mine, and with a set of verniers i measuerd from the top of the bolt to the opposite side of the steering column and on one it was 29.5mm and on the other it was 30.5mm, so i went for the happy medium. Hope this helps |
