Hello All.
I have fitted 3 headlining's in the past ,always a difficult job ,today I fitted a headlining with no real problems .I started from the Centre of the mini adhered lining to both pillars made sure the steel bow was vertical, stretched each end and I used small plastic coated spring clamps to hold ends in position. Worked down each side all went well. The job took 4 hours ,as I am very fussy about everything I do. No heat gun used as they did not use them in the BMC factory .I will recheck the lining tomorrow. If there are wrinkles in the lining I will use the old trimmers trick Boil the kettle in the car and as the lining cools wrinkles should disappear and the lining will tighten. FYI.
Allen
