Hi Everyone, This question may be impossible to answer,but i'll give it whirl anyway. I have a 1970 Mini K chassis number YG2S110766 The current engine is not correct, it's running a 998 (99H834AJ1H381) I don't know what the 1 between the J and H means, and i'm trying to find out what the original engine number for this particular car was. Any ideas? Andy |

Attachment: 99H834AJH.jpg Using similar Mini K's around yours as a guide you could estimate the original engine number to around 10YCTAH 11450. Car 9319 had engine 9980, Car 11170 had engine 11826. |

yeah got it now. that line extends all the way through the plate from top to bottom. mine is the same height as the letters/numbers |

Thats the only explanation i have. All the other pics i have of that engine prefix don't have any partitions. |
