What a fun job fitting these 2 trims ,seems to me they are not made correctly. I had to cut the trim where it fits under the binnacle and remove some board ,and I also had to cut where it fits next to the door seal. Anyhow they fit good now 3 hour job. Anyone had the same problem ?Tomorrow I am fitting the head lining I have fitted them in the past. Allen |

I can't explain or help with the problems you are having, but I completely sympathise. In the past I have made my own backboards and it is easy to make them slightly too big and stuggled to fit them into the curve of the dash. Recently bought a set of Mk2 boards for my mini K and covered them with my own vinyl and they fitted really easily at both ends!! Was very happy. |

What is the best product (the board material) used to make these and door cards etc? |

Doing the same job on mine at the moment. Initially bought 3.2mm Masonite from Bunnings, but not enough flex to fit. Today I am buying 2.5mm modelling ply. Will see how that works. |
