Hello all ,does the door handle spring connect to the bottom screw on the handle ?after it slides over the shaft. TY Allen |

the Australian supplement of the big red workshop manual has this to say.... Quote: Reverse the above (disassembly) procedure making sure that the door handle return spring arm is in the downward vertical position. Preload the spring by moving the spring arm through 90° to locate on the spacer under the forward securing screw not as good as a picture 'eh
