Hello All .
Does anyone have the size of the spacer that hooks the snail spring ?My doors did not have them ,I guess someone got rid of them when they were working on the doors ,I cannot find a part number for the spacer. Also what screw do they fit on ?

Allen, you and must be living in a parallel universe. I’ve just reassembled my door handles and had to make up a collar to match the original. Luckily one side still had the original collar. I made up a collar using a metal sleeve I had laying around from my model aeroplane days. It’s not a critical detail so I wasn’t worried about it not being too exact. The collar is slightly wider than the spring and slightly smaller than the head of the screw to ensure it doesn’t slide over the screw head. The screw was basically the width of the collar longer than the smaller other two screws. unfortunately I didn’t take any detail photos otherwise I’d post them here.

Have one here.
OD = .311" (5/16inch)
ID = .195" ID to clear a 10gg-32tpi Unf screw (.184")
length = .227"

I tried a piece of 5/16" copper tube suits ID and OD really well.
Maybe 5/16" bundy tubing would also suit.
