Anyone know how many tapered spacers are needed for the door hinges?

2 tapered washers for the top hinge. So 4 required per car

Low oil pressure and Oil filter bypass.

On the Cooper S they only used the oil filter warning, but it was disconnected in late 1968.

Thanks. Pretty sure there’s no sensors on my car for these. It’s has an oil pressure gauge instead of the switch.

I’m think about getting a 123 or csi dizzy. They sell vacuum advance and non vacuum advance.

As the advance is set by the programme I assume the only difference is how they look externally. Am I correct or off the mark?

The vacuum normally works in addition to any other advance. The plate inside with the points/ignition rotates when the vacuum advance is added

The 123 manual says 0 to 14 degrees more advance when vac goes from 5 to 10 inHg

Well it’s up to you. It adds extra advance at part throttle and can help with fuel economy. The Cooper S never had it
