Hey all, now been offered an AEG480 crank, it's on Std/Std.

Any thoughts on a value, I know its subjective and it's worth what someone is willing to fork out, but I'd like people's opinions.
There is some mild pitting on the nose, I'm in talks with my local engineering shop on if this is an issue or can be remedied.
I managed to get a thin flange S block and set of aeg177 rods, so it makes sense I need the corresponding crank.

Cheers

I wouldn't worry about the pitting, my S crank laid under a house 14 years and got pitted there. It's run fine for 20 years since.

What size are the journals? as in well worn or still have plenty of meat? Critical information for a used crank...

Ditch the 177 rods and get 521s. At least you can use ARP bolts with them. I reckon the crank has to be worth $800 to $1000.
