After replacing the door skins I have fitted the door handles which were rechromed. Not an easy job to do I spent most of the day working on them so they worked correctly and returned to the outer door stop. I had to modify the inside door panel where the handle bolts on otherwise the handle was not lining up with the small handle stop on the outside .I used a small socket bar to slightly knock up the front door screw hole then I knocked down the rear screw hole about 1.5 mm.All works well now. Anyone else had these problems .

Aren't the new door skins to suit 850's. The handle holes are a little different if I recall.

yes that's right I had to modify the holes and cut off the top flange .They fit well . the holes must be exact and the panel behind the holes must be spot welded back in the exact position, use a piece of 1.6 mm copper on the outside of the skin when welding the door fixing panel in place, no spot welds on the outside of the skin. The skins are EASY to fit and you do not need to use body filler.
