I have had an auction item offered to me today, its a 1962 mini 850, blue with the union jack on the roof, 107,000miles
Im mostly thinking of buying because I think I could turn a profit.. but am also quite excited at the prospect of owning a mini for a while, looks like its in pretty good nick, reported oil leak.. worth a stab at $10,000?

Thanks all

Well, unless it is rust free and either all original or well restored, it probably isn't a 'steal' for $10k. But without more detailed info and some pictures it is pretty hard to tell really.

That is a very nice car. It may not be standard mini but few of them stayed standard for long. It looks like someone spent time planning good upgrades and they should make a for a happy car. I think it IS worth the money.
