not really relevant here, as those kits are for the Mk3 onwards
and in reality the Oz windup windows are better for air-flow through the cabin than any sliding window, especially at low speeds

I have often heard this comment about poor airflow in a sliding window mini.
However, I have one and am surprised by how good the airflow really is.
Depending on how much you open the front or rear half of the door windows and also the rear windows you can have a howling gale through the car.
I don't know how much better it could possibly be 8)

There are no toll booths any more, keep them closed in the carwash :shock: , they still open up half the window for the maccas drive through :wink:

With the drive thru I find it's not so much the sliding windows but the fact the roof of the mini is a similar height to the bottom of the drive thru window

Was it the mini Sunshine that had a sunroof ?. They could just drop your order down to you :D

Yes they did...as did many other Mini's fitted with after-market sunroofs...the idea of having your order dropped down to you is a little scary tho :)
