Hi all

I remember a long time ago somebody mentioning on here of somebody making up car covers to fit minis etc.
I know they can be bought commercialy to fit minis but I need two made up one for a mini and one for a very small vintage style caravan so I need somebody that will make one up to a sample for the caravan.
Thanks in advance for any replies

cheers

I've bought two indoor dust covers, one custom made for my Mini by a well known high end car cover retailer in the west, the other a premium off the shelf generic cover from a local aftermarket source that supplies many of the major well-known auto parts stores. Both covers have failed to prevent dust getting through and settling on the body. I'm thinking one of those cheap see through plastic types that auto body shops use may be a better bet.

You are thinking of the custom covers by Lynda. They are made from thick fleecy material, fit perfectly and do a good job at keeping the dust out without scratching the paint. Every 6 months or so I throw mine in the washing machine (its basically a Giant jumper) as the dust builds up some starts getting through. I have 7 of these covers in colours matching the cars, and have already commissioned a new one with design/livery to match the Manton car. Bloody awesome. They aren't cheap at $425 but you get what you pay for. Lynda 0415981605

We also sell a high end indoor & outdoor cover made to order for BOTH Minis & Mokes.

I believe they have the best material spec available today.
They are not ugly like some on the market & do let some dust in over time as you would
expect without putting the car in a bubble or cocoon.
Washing machine safe.
Turnaround approx. 7-8 working days $440 inc GST
range of colours too.

Yes expensive, but as Greg says , you do get what you pay for.
