Where/how is the flasher unit secured under the parcel shelf? Is there a clip available to secure it?

I think the original units had a mounting tab and were bolted to something (someone on here may correct me). Mine cable tied to the pedal box...

I seem to remember it was the side of the pedal box beneath the dash? The clicking transmits nicely to the metal to make it more audible when its bolted down.

Is yours a metal can with a mounting hole?

Thanks for the replies. As for mine being a metal one - been a while since I have seen it amongst all my parts. Would be desirable to have a metal one. Trying to get it back on the road before it turns 50 years.

Mine ('68 Deluxe) was a glass unit, in a small spring-clamp under the dash - retained by the bolts that hold the column drop bracket
