Hi guys this has been annoying me. When I get into it on1st and 2nd gear there is an annoying loud metallic rattle on the left hand side.
It's not mechanical I think as soon as I change from 1st to 2nd it's gone until I get the rpms back up highish. Then goes when I change into 3rd. ( I dont get the revs that high in 3,4,5.

Has anyone experienced this. I can't seem to find anything loose except the grill that's the only thing I can think off. But it doesnt sound frilly. But plan on putting bigger screws in...

I had a slight rattle from my grill at idle. I put some plastic/rubber washers behind the screws and the rattle has gone.

We chased a similar rattle for ages. Eventually found the radiator touching the shroud, the number plate a little wobbly and the front bumper touching the body. Also, a tune up made for smoother running and hence less vibration. Extractors and and RC40 drowns out any rattles!

I have had similar rattles when the radiator surround breaks the tiny rivets or spot welds at top tank.
I fixed them with short M3 screws & nuts.

Edit- typo.
