Here are some other photos to help identify hose clamps, hose construction, location of parts, changeovers of parts, painted and non painted areas. The early GTs with the S engine used the same hoses, hose clamps and PCV. I have asked a few original MK2 S owners for pics of their engine bays before any changes were made but I have not had a response yet.

Be aware that UK power unit painting was different to Oz. I see discussed on some UK forums the method of painting certain ancillaries already attached to the power unit.

Yes I have seen that youtube video on the engine painting and they sprayed everything. Inlet manifolds, coils, fan pulley. I suppose you have to look at how complete the engines were when they arrived and what Aussie parts were fitted. It wouldn't make sense to remove too many parts for painting if any.

Thanks for the photo Bill B. In your photo the fan seem's to be more yellow looking :-)
All the photo's seem to be making the topic more confusing :-) :-(
White/clear or Yellow fan?
Have sorted some detail but the engine will need to go back in soon so a fan will need to be fitted.
Any further information on this detail be be much appreciated..........

Cheers

In the photo of my mini the fan looks slightly yellow but I think it is due to age - nearly 50 years. If you look at a yellow fan, there is no mistaking "yellow". The white ones aren't available now anyway so a quality yellow one will have to be the compromise.

I have a white/clear fan in my stock so will run with that.
The photo's are really helpful when it come's to the hose clamp's etc.
I think Iv'e got the correct one's.
Any more info or photo's would still be appreciated.

Kind Regards
