Just another really quick question sorry. I have the later fuel tank and sender in the 850, but have the original speedo head and fuel gauge, and the car is neg earth now. So the gauge reads backwards, but it only reads half full when full etc. If I was to swap just the fuel gauge for a later one (assuming they will fit in the early speedo head) would I also need to fit the voltage stabilizer? I don't care if the needle bobs around, just like to have better idea of fuel level, but would it even work without the stabilizer? I have no idea how to wire in a voltage stabilizer, although happy to learn if it's possible.

Edit all that, it should work and found it is easy to wire in the stabiliser/regulator.

Just wondering now if there is a later fuel gauge that will fit in the early speedo head, and (a long shot) if anyone has one they'd like to sell me?
