Someone on the Mark 1 Forum in the UK is having Cooper S oil cooler hoses remade. Below shows the latest version ready for pressure testing next to originals. Price is GBP 125 per pair (approx AUD$225).

What a crowd pleaser. I'm pretty glad to see them remade so close to the original spec.

Keep us updated on the quality etc when you receive them brett. I anticipate they will be pretty good based on their other products.

Brett - are you able to post a pic of the yellow label and lettering on yours?

The one I have made is in this thread - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=97772

Interesting they've used black heatshrink tubing over whatever hose is underneath. I wonder why they never just used black glossy hose to start with.

How long did they take to get to you? Just ordered a set myself.

Hi,

Has anyone installed a set of these hoses yet!

I’ve tried to fit them and have some questions about length and if the hoses fold over and compress at the bend. I’d rather ask here than bug Nippy cars in the first instance.

Thanks.

Yes, I have. They are a it tight on bends and the outer case ripples a little. Really no different to the originals IMO.

Thanks for that Stibbsy, I was a little worried how tight the oil filter hose was. I guess it will shape up a little.

You’ve given me more confidence now to finish the install - thank you!
