Mind if I ask where you got the kit? Is it easy to fit?

It’s a zmax kit from the Uk.
Very simple to fit.

Not the Vmaxscart kit ? Looks the same.

Yes sorry Vmax kit, my smartphone isn’t always so smart.

Hi, currently running 10 psi, have ordered a reduction pulley to give it between 5-6 more.
After a bit of fiddling with jets and chokes it seems to be running very well.
I’ll be fitting a water/methanol injection kit to cool the charge and make the extra boost safe.

:D Hi Chris, looks great. What chokes do you have in the Weber? My VMAXSCART kit was running very rich on cruise with 30mm chokes as supplied in the kit. I have now fitted 34mm chokes and it is running much better and hovers around 10 to 11 AFR when cruising. About 13:1 AFR on idle and 14:1 AFR under power. With the standard pulley I get 5lb boost at 2000 rpm full throttle with a max of 13lb boost at 6500rpm. The car has been dyno Ed a few times and makes almost 90hp ATW,s which gives a fun drive. I am sure you are enjoying your car on the brilliant NZ roads. :D
Cheers

I also had 30mm chokes, I changed my idle jet to lower my cruse fuel ratio, that’s the circuit they are responsible for. I fitted 28mm chokes to speed up airflow as I had the dreaded Weber cough.
Would bog down when you planted your foot, changed my idle jets for larger ones, which also helped.
I was getting 13lb from about 4000rpm but then changed both my head and full exhaust to more free flowing which has bought my boost down.
I’ll fix this with a 17% reduction pulley.
It’s definitely fun to drive.
Got any pictures of yours?

don't run that for too long, good recipe for melted pistons

This was my original setup with SU which went Ok but had a few small issues due to the length of the inlet pipe. Great for cruising but difficult in stop start traffic

Been like that for 6 years and still going strong. The AFR does jump around a lot unless idling or cruising

Idle 13.5-14 :1 afr
Cruise 13.5-14.5:1 afr
Full load 12-12.5 :1 air fuel ratio

This is how mine ended up
