Can someone recommend a mobile front and rear screen installation service in inner Melbourne?

Be careful of the new windscreens offered by a number of the so called reputable suppliers, they are made O/s and can be up to 6mm to wide. The installer will try to blame the car having been incorrectly repaired but the problem is simply the screen. I have had two fitted in the lsat six months, having stone chipped the first some weeks after installing it and both required grinding to fit, supplied by Windscreens O'Brien.

I have a laminated screen & a toughened screen & they are both a different length and thickness. So do they use a different fitting rubber?

I had my front fitted and the rubber lays a bit flat at the bottom causing the ashtray lid to contact it.
We put it done to the curvature of the screen. But what can you do, they are all made in China and getting another screen would result in the same.

And some of the rubber seals are too thick between the metal and the glass. Couldn't refit an old screen that had come off the car when using a new seal that was over-thick.

Yes Bill

I ended up using the old rubber on the rear screen because the new rubber as you said was too thick
